The National LGBT Chamber of Commerce has released the first-ever snapshot demonstrating the economic and social impact of America’s leading LGBT business owners and entrepreneurs.  Key findings:

    • American LGBT-owned businesses contributed an estimated
      $1.7 trillion to the US economy.

    • The LGBT community holds an estimated purchasing power of $917 billion dollars.

    • LGBTBEs have created over 33,000 jobs in the United States. 

    • Certified LGBTBEs stay in business longer than the average small business.
